Navy’s New ‘Stealth’ Destroyer Headed to Sea

The BIW-built Zumwalt could cruise down the Kennebec River as early as Monday for long-awaited sea trials of the lead ship in the new class of Navy destroyer.

For the first time in three years, Mainers living along the southern tip of the Kennebec River could have a chance as early as Monday to see a new Navy destroyer cruise by en route to the Atlantic.
